In the second quarter of 2025, the top music and podcast apps in Latin America on a unified platform showed varied performance, as tracked by Sensor Tower.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts saw a consistent rise in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 1.37M in early June. The app's weekly revenue also experienced an upward trend, reaching around $643K mid-June. Active users remained stable, fluctuating slightly around 129M.

YouTube Music had weekly revenue peaking at about $355K in early May. However, downloads showed a gradual decline, starting from 260K and ending at roughly 212K by the end of June. Active users fluctuated but ended the quarter at about 56.4M.
